"Our stay at Kathleen’s place was exceptional. This was the end of a road trip and we were thrilled to see how cozy and comfortable the house was. The kitchen is new and super nice and the living space was very comfortable. Loved how easy it was to walk into town and the grocery store. We would return in a heartbeat."

"Our stay at The Ponderosa (Classic 2-Bedroom) was very pleasant overall. The cabin has a great rustic charm that makes for a cozy getaway. However, the kitchen could definitely use a bit more attention to detail regarding cleanliness—specifically, the stove gave off a strong burning smell when we tried to use it. It is a lovely spot, but the kitchen upkeep needs a little work."

"For me and my family, it was perfect! Since we were out most of each day, all we needed was a clean room with 2 good, comfortable and clean beds. And we got it! Plus a decent bathroom for hot showers with good water pressure. We also needed an area to visit with family (and new grandbabies) living in Cascade. Birch Glen checked all the boxes! Plus delicious "keurig-style" coffee each morning to start the day. The only problem I had was when we first arrived, Friday evening (4:50pm), my phone was dead so I couldn't get to my LINK to get into the room. We could not find anyone to let us in. My son tried calling the number posted but no answer. We finally had to go to another business to charge my phone and then things went MUCH better after that. It turned out to be a great weekend stay at Birch Glen Lodge, at a reasonable price. Thanks!!!"

"Great location, there was previous occupants body and hair wash and deodorant in bathroom, fireplace did not work pilot light was on but would not ignite, I highly recommend to run your water hot and cold for at least 15 min , water will still have a yellow tint to it but not as bad as the beginning (staff should let customers know ) but overall it was quiet , bed was comfortable and clean"
